Modern Aminos review

A storefront that would not let us in

Modern Aminos is a research peptide brand that sells through modernaminos.com and a sister domain, modernaminos.eu. When we tried to read the main site on October 19, 2026, it returned HTTP 403, the code for a refused request, and a subdomain, new.modernaminos.com, did not resolve at all. That changes the nature of this review. Every field we normally fill from a supplier’s own pages, the certificate library, the laboratory names, the test methods, the catalog, the prices, the shipping terms, the payment methods, the return policy, the address and the research-use disclaimer, is unverified, and we say so plainly rather than filling the gaps from memory or from other people’s summaries.

What follows comes from two outside sources. The first is Trustpilot. The second is Finnrick, an independent testing aggregator that has both tested the brand’s products and published an intelligence report on the company dated June 13, 2026. Each fact below is attributed to its source. The one thing a reader should know is that the independent test record is decent and everything around it is opaque.

What the outside record says about testing

Finnrick’s tests concern a single GLP-class item. Across six classifiable tests between June 2025 and July 2026, five passed, giving a 79 percent rating. The one failure was an identity failure on July 9, 2025, and a March 2026 sample came in 21.7 percent below the vendor’s own batch claim, which counts against the label even where the sample passed. On its own, five of six is a better outside record than many suppliers on this site can show, and we say so.

The context Finnrick supplies around those numbers is less comfortable. Finnrick reports that the vendor cites four laboratories for its certificates, Vanguard, Chromate, TrustPointe and Freedom Diagnostics, and describes their accreditation as uneven, with unresolved allegations of falsified certificates connected to some of them. We could not open a single certificate to see which laboratory issued it or what it reported, so HPLC, mass spectrometry, endotoxin and sterility are all unknown. Finnrick also notes that the vendor announced the discontinuation of its GLP-class and related products effective December 31, 2025, yet Finnrick logged a test of one such item on July 20, 2026, which suggests either that the discontinuation did not happen or that stock continued to reach buyers afterward.

In practice, a buyer has one outside number in the brand’s favor, covering one product line, and no document from the brand itself. Set against the field, that is not a position from which we can place the company in any group for testing transparency; there is nothing to place. We would add one caution about the pass rate itself. Six tests of a single item is a small sample, and a sample of six that includes one identity failure and one result more than a fifth below the label is not the same as a clean record. It is a better record than many, and it is also a record a buyer should read in full rather than as a percentage.

A 403 response also deserves a word of interpretation. It is not the same as a site that has gone offline; it means the server was reachable and chose to refuse the request. Some storefronts block automated readers as a matter of routine. Whatever the reason, the effect for this review is the same: a buyer cannot rely on anything we say about the company’s own pages, because we could not read them, and should go and read them before ordering.

The company, the policies and the promotion

Finnrick identifies the operating entity as a Wyoming LLC registered at 30 N Gould St in Sheridan, a mass registered-agent address used by a great many companies, with an operator trail that points to Idaho and no beneficial owners on the public record. It reports that the MODERN AMINOS trademark belongs to an unrelated company, Modern Sports Nutrition LLC. It counts 17 promoter placements for the brand, 14 of them carrying codes or affiliate links without clear disclosure, including a subreddit that used a referral code. A support email, cs@modernaminos.com, appears in Finnrick’s report and is unverified. We found no FDA warning letter naming the company.

The US Trustpilot profile has been removed for guideline violations. Before the removal, search snippets had shown about 1,563 reviews and a 4.9 score, an unusually large and favorable profile, and Finnrick says the modernaminos.eu profile carries negative reviews. We do not know why Trustpilot acted and we record the removal as an absence of track record, as we do for every supplier in the same position.

On policies, Finnrick reports that all sales are final with a 7-day return window, and that the terms include anti-chargeback language threatening escalation to fraud reporting and law enforcement. We could not read the terms ourselves. If Finnrick’s description is accurate, a buyer who disputes a charge is being warned off the one protection a card gives them, which is a term we would weigh heavily against any supplier. No prices, formats, carriers, free-shipping threshold or payment methods could be recorded; the only product names in the record are CJC-1295 and one GLP-class item.

Bottom line

Modern Aminos cannot be assessed on its own documents, because it would not show them to us. The independent test record Finnrick reports, five passes in six on one product line, is the brand’s strongest point and it is a real one. Against it sit an anonymous registered-agent entity with an Idaho trail, a trademark owned by someone else, a removed review profile that had been unusually large, undisclosed promotion across more than a dozen placements, and reported terms that threaten buyers who dispute charges. A reader who finds this brand recommended elsewhere should know that most of those recommendations came with a code attached. Until the storefront is reachable and its certificates can be opened, we have no basis to recommend an order and several reasons to wait.
