Umbrella Labs is a Tucson, Arizona retailer on a .is domain that sells peptides alongside SARMs, nootropics and other research chemicals in vials, blends, nasal, capsule and bulk formats. It publishes an open certificate index and names two laboratories, it ships free across the US with no minimum, and it carries an FDA warning letter dated May 18, 2021, after which it has continued to operate. The founding year is not published. The thing to know before ordering is that the certificates are filed by date rather than by lot, which makes them harder to use than their openness suggests.

We read the homepage, the BPC-157 product page, the two certificate pages, the quality assurance page, the payment options page and the shipping information page, read the warning letter on fda.gov, checked the Trustpilot profile and read the PeptideProtocolWiki entry. Everything below comes from those sources or from public records.

What the certificate index actually shows

The /peptides-coa/ page links certificate PDFs directly, with no login, and the documents name MZ BioLabs and Vanguard Laboratory as the issuing laboratories. The BPC-157 product page lists an endotoxin certificate alongside a purity claim of 99 percent or better by LC-MS, so HPLC, mass spectrometry and endotoxin are all documented; sterility is not. An open index with two named labs and an endotoxin result on the flagship product is more than most suppliers in this market publish.

The organization undercuts the content. Certificates are labeled by date rather than by lot or batch number, and no lot numbers are visible on the index. A buyer holding a vial therefore has to guess which dated report corresponds to it, and whether every lot receives its own certificate is unknown. The site also claims purity validation by analytical chemists credentialed by the National Certification Commission in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering and says routine analyses take place in a CLIA environment; neither claim is tied to a document we could open.

The warning letter, the company and the fine print

The FDA issued a warning letter dated 2021-05-18, available at https://www.fda.gov/inspections-compliance-enforcement-and-criminal-investigations/warning-letters/umbrella-612037-05182021. Addressed to Umbrella in Tucson, Arizona, it names umbrellalabs.is and concerns products named in the letter that the agency considers unapproved new drugs and misbranded. The company continues to operate in 2026, more than five years on.

The site itself shows no company address and no legal entity. The Tucson address, 3280 E Hemisphere Loop Suite 190, Tucson, AZ 85706, appears only on the Trustpilot profile and the FDA letter. A phone number, 1-855-471-8544, and business hours are published, and research-use disclaimers appear on product and QA pages. The Trustpilot profile shows a score of 3.0 from 235 reviews, with recurring complaints about slow shipping and slow responses. The homepage title claims “Featured on Yahoo and MSN,” which the record attributes to press-release placements rather than editorial coverage.

Pricing is mid-market. The BPC-157 vial is listed as a $48.99 to $88.18 range across 5 mg and 10 mg variants, with $48.99 recorded as the 5 mg benchmark. Peptide listings include BPC-157, a BPC-157 + TB-500 Blend, AOD9604, ACE-167, Adamax, Gepon, Crystagen and Testagen; GW-501516 Cardarine and MK-2866 Ostarine sit on the SARMs side. The product count is not published.

Shipping is free across the US with no minimum, from Arizona, and US-only; carriers and turnaround are not stated. Payments are personal debit card, same-day bank payment, BTCPay crypto and Plaid ACH with a 5 percent discount. PeptideProtocolWiki, a third party, reports that the vendor accepts debit cards only, quoting “we do NOT accept business debit cards,” and that card charges appear under the descriptor “UNBLOCK” with a $1,000 cap; that is the wiki’s report, not our finding.

No returns or refund policy was found. The only stated protection is a shipping guarantee: a one-time, no-cost replacement of a lost shipment or damaged product, which requires a customer account to file. A buyer who receives the wrong item, or an item that does not match its certificate, has no written policy to point to.

Set against the field, Umbrella Labs is a mixed record of a particular kind: strong on access, weak on structure, weak on policy. The documents are easy to find and come from laboratories a buyer can look up, which is more than many suppliers manage. But a certificate library organized by date rather than by lot asks the buyer to do the matching, and the absence of any returns policy means that if the match turns out to be wrong there is no written route back. The warning letter also belongs in context. At more than five years old it is the oldest FDA letter among the active suppliers we track, and the company has continued to operate throughout. Whether age makes a warning letter matter less is a judgment for each buyer’s own compliance position. We record that it exists, that it is public, and that nothing in the record indicates it has been resolved.

Bottom line

Umbrella Labs opens its certificates to anyone, names its laboratories, publishes an endotoxin result for BPC-157 and ships free. Against that, the certificates are dated rather than lot-numbered, the company never states its own address or entity on its own site, its Trustpilot record is middling with a pattern of service complaints, there is no returns policy at all, and a 2021 FDA warning letter sits on the record. If free shipping, open documents and named labs are what you need and you are prepared to match a dated certificate to your vial yourself, it is a workable choice. If you need a lot-matched report, a returns policy or a clean regulatory history, it fails on all three.
