Who they are and what we checked
Swiss Chems, which also writes its name SwissChems, is not Swiss. The address on its FDA warning letter is 42 Broadway, 12th floor, New York, NY 10004, the founding year of 2018 and the New York location come from PeptideProtocolWiki, and the site itself shows no address at all. It is a capsule-heavy research-chemical retailer spanning SARMs, nootropics and bioregulators, with peptides in vials, bulk and blends. Two things define the record: a large public test archive from a named laboratory, and a warning letter from the FDA dated December 10, 2024.
We read the homepage, the Independent Test Results page, the FAQ, the How To Pay page and the two BPC-157 product pages, read the warning letter on fda.gov, and checked the Trustpilot profiles for both the .io and .is domains. The contact page returned HTTP 403. Everything below comes from those sources or from public records.
What the test archive actually shows
The public “Independent Test Results” page lists 126 reports, each with a View Report link and no login indicated. The FAQ names Janoshik Analytical as the principal laboratory and states that reports are lot-specific. Product pages link batch-specific HPLC reports together with GC-MS and LC-MS contamination screens and heavy-metal testing. HPLC and mass spectrometry are therefore documented, and certificates are issued per lot. One wrinkle: the results-page text itself does not name the laboratory; that attribution lives in the FAQ, so a reader opening the archive cold would not know whose reports they were looking at. The site also claims testing by “independent, ISO-accredited laboratories.” Endotoxin and sterility testing are not recorded.
The purity guarantee is unusually concrete. If independent HPLC testing at a licensed facility contradicts the stated purity, the company refunds the test cost and the full order amount including shipping. Few suppliers put a promise like that in writing, and it is the strongest policy statement in this file.
The warning letter, the company and the fine print
The FDA issued a warning letter dated 2024-12-10, available at https://www.fda.gov/inspections-compliance-enforcement-and-criminal-investigations/warning-letters/swisschems-695663-12102024. It concerns GLP-class products offered on swisschems.is that the agency considers unapproved new drugs, following a website review in October 2024. Whether those products remain listed was not verified during our check.
A support email and a phone number are published. Trustpilot has removed the profile for swisschems.io, and no profile exists for swisschems.is, so no review figure can be stated. The FAQ discloses that card charges appear under the descriptor “OPTIMUS DATA” and that a chargeback places the buyer on a “no-sell list.” Both are things a buyer should know before paying by card: the first so that the charge is recognized on a statement, the second because it removes the dispute route a card would normally provide. A research-use-only disclaimer is present.
Pricing cannot be fully placed. BPC-157 0.5 mg capsules, 60 count, are $85.95. BPC-157 with Arginine Salt showed a homepage range of $39.99 to $599.50 across 5 mg and 10 mg vials in packs of 1 or 10, but the product page displayed no price and was out of stock, so no reliable 5 mg benchmark exists and the price tier is unknown. Other listings include Enclomiphene, Bronchogen, 5-Amino-1MQ, GW-501516, HCG and HMG. The product count is not published.
US orders paid before 12 PM Eastern on business days ship the same day, otherwise the next business day, by FedEx or USPS. Shipping is free over $100 domestic and $300 international. Payments are card, crypto, Zelle and ACH.
Returns are narrow and expensive. Only unopened, resealable SARMs, PCT and MEP items are accepted, within 7 business days of confirmed delivery. The buyer pays return shipping, a 15 percent restocking fee per product and a $25 processing fee per transaction are deducted, and shipping is non-refundable. Peptides are not in the list of returnable categories, so for a peptide buyer the purity guarantee is the only recourse the policies offer, and it requires paying for an outside test first.
Set against the field, Swiss Chems belongs in the top group for certificate volume and lot specificity, and its purity refund is the most concrete written promise we have seen a supplier make. The archive of 126 lot-specific reports from a named laboratory is the kind of library this market should produce as a matter of course and mostly does not. If this review stopped at the test archive, it would read as a recommendation.
It does not stop there, and the rest of the record pulls hard the other way. A company that names itself after Switzerland and operates from New York without printing either fact on its own site has made a choice about disclosure. A FAQ that tells buyers a chargeback will put them on a no-sell list has made a choice about how disputes will be handled. A return policy that lists the categories it accepts and leaves peptides off that list has made a choice about which customers it protects. None of those choices is hidden, and we credit the company for writing them down, but each one shifts risk from the seller to the buyer. Add a December 2024 warning letter from the FDA and a removed review profile, and the picture is of a supplier with excellent paperwork and a business model built to keep the paperwork’s promises on its own terms.
Bottom line
Swiss Chems publishes a large, lot-specific test archive from a named laboratory and backs it with the most concrete purity refund we have seen. It also carries a December 2024 FDA warning letter, shows no address behind a Swiss-sounding name, has lost its Trustpilot profile, discloses that chargebacks are punished, and excludes peptides from its return policy. A buyer who wants volume of paperwork and a written purity promise will find both. A buyer who weighs regulatory history, card protection and the ability to return a peptide will find all three working against the order.
What we liked
- A public Independent Test Results page lists 126 reports with View Report links and no login indicated.
- The FAQ names Janoshik Analytical as the principal laboratory and states that reports are lot-specific.
- Product pages link batch-specific HPLC reports together with GC-MS and LC-MS contamination screens and heavy-metal testing.
- The purity guarantee refunds the cost of an independent HPLC test plus the full order, including shipping, if the result contradicts the stated purity.
- Shipping is free over $100 in the US and $300 internationally, and card, crypto, Zelle and ACH are accepted.
What we would want fixed
- The FDA issued a warning letter dated December 10, 2024 concerning GLP-class products offered on swisschems.is.
- Trustpilot has removed the profile for swisschems.io, and no profile exists for swisschems.is.
- Returns are limited to unopened SARMs, PCT and MEP items within 7 business days, with a 15 percent restocking fee per product and a $25 processing fee per transaction; peptides are not returnable.
- Card charges appear under the descriptor 'OPTIMUS DATA', and the FAQ says a chargeback places the buyer on a 'no-sell list'.
- The name suggests Switzerland, but the FDA letter address is New York, the site shows no address of its own, and the contact page returned HTTP 403.
